maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA Apr 9, 2006 Clear dark reddish brown color with a medium creamy off-white head that lasts a while. Aroma caramel, some grain and light fruit. Flavor of sweet fruit and caramel followed by grain. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA Apr 1, 2006 Pours a dark red color with thick tan head. Fruit aroma along with caramel. Doesn’t really apeal to me at all. Flavor is the same but reminds me of Killians only slight better. Slightly being the keyword. Not good at all. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Mar 30, 2006 Bottle. Dark amber colour with a tan head. Malty fruity aroma. Malty fruity flavor with some hints of apples. Malty aftertaste with some bitterness. thehoff (567), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA Mar 26, 2006 A little too sweet for an irish red I think. Red in color so that lives up to all expectations. A bit dry in the finish, and a little bit of a moldy grass flavor. Not the best thing I’ve ever tasted but not the worst. Its been a while since I’ve had any other reds so I really cant compare but I vaguely remember Murphys Red being a bit better. Fish (439), Kure, Japan Mar 26, 2006 Pretty reddish brown color. Fairly malty sweet aroma. Some nice malts, hops were a little lacking. Beer was pretty overwhelmingly sweet. Decent palate. Average beer. labattfreak (58), Coldwater, Michigan, USA Mar 19, 2006 Nice color, had a bit of a berry taste to it. It had a beautiful red color. Tried it as a "St. Patty’s day special." Sregnar35 (729), Rotterdam, New York, USA Mar 17, 2006 On tap at Mahar’s on St. Patty’s Day 06. Very good session beer. Flavor was malty, a little too sweet, but good starter for sure. sunevdj (1765), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Mar 17, 2006 50 cl bottle. Molings Celitic beer. Dark brown with tanned foamy head.
