A traditional light hop flavour balances the sweet malty caramel taste. The addition of a pinch of roast barley during the brewing process lends a distinctive roast bite which is balanced by a crisp dry medium bitterness.

Birra color rubino con schiuma beige evanescente e pronta a scomparire abbastanza presto. Aroma secco di malto, qualche sentore di affumicato e qualche spezia. In bocca caramello e malto affumicato appena percettibile. Birra semplice, acquosa e con poco corpo. Beverina ma non trascendentale.

Flasche vom lokalen Supermarkt.

Resish brown. Big head. Woody smell. Rich aromatic taste, wort, caramel and nuts. Robust and solid. Something to hang on to. Like!

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2014 500ml bottle served in a Thumbler glass. A: Pours a dark amber copper color. Clear. Forms a small beige to gray head with low retention. A very think layer remains on the top forever and some lacings are formed and left in the glass S: Toffee, caramel malts, wood and hops. Some notes of bready yeasts. Light lactic notes in the very end T: Slightly sweet grains upfront. Strong notes of wood. Notes of roasted malts, caramel malts, English style grassy hops. BTW, an smooth but very pleasant hoppy bitterness. In overall, a dry beer in the mouth. Very reach in flavors M: Light body. Medium to low carbonation. A little bit molasses. Excellent woody and bit bitter aftertaste O: Great drinkability. Very well done beer. Recommended [ BA Review @ 12/16/2012 ]
