Apr 22, 2004 Bronze coloured ale with off-white head. Medium complex flavour with roasted malts, underlying malty sweetness and a bit hops. Smoke? Some bitterness in the finish (coffee too?). Overall a fairly nice ale.

Mar 20, 2004 I do not know why every red ale has to do this. I am very disappointed. Overly watered down malty taste, with some caramel toffee sweetness, but not enough to save the day. Thin and creamy, but nothing is going on here.

Mar 14, 2004 rather bland. A watered down hops taste with some carmel like malt notes. It did have a creamy aspect to it but it could not save this beer.
