rather dry with fine bitterness and some toffee. walleye (876), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA Apr 30, 2004 reddish brown with off white head nice malty sweetness this is one of those beers that you can throw down a few with the buds PetetheMeat (546), Hove, Denmark Apr 22, 2004 Bronze coloured ale with off-white head. Medium complex flavour with roasted malts, underlying malty sweetness and a bit hops. Smoke? Some bitterness in the finish (coffee too?). Overall a fairly nice ale. rickgordon (3285), Göteborg, Sweden Apr 19, 2004 Bottled.
Mahogany colour. Malty, slight nutty flavour with some roastiness. Just some bitterness in the finish.
AndersR (194), Århus, Denmark Apr 18, 2004 Amber colored. Tons of smoke in the aroma. Also in taste the smokey aroma is too dominant. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Mar 20, 2004 I do not know why every red ale has to do this. I am very disappointed. Overly watered down malty taste, with some caramel toffee sweetness, but not enough to save the day. Thin and creamy, but nothing is going on here. SlimJimDrinker (115), Nørrebronx, Denmark Mar 16, 2004 Nice head and amber colored body... Pretty standard aroma and taste to this one... Nothing out of the ordinary... crazyvin (1246), New York, USA Mar 14, 2004 rather bland. A watered down hops taste with some carmel like malt notes. It did have a creamy aspect to it but it could not save this beer.
