A traditional light hop flavour balances the sweet malty caramel taste. The addition of a pinch of roast barley during the brewing process lends a distinctive roast bite which is balanced by a crisp dry medium bitterness.

Dobre i gożkie piwo i o mocnym goryczkowym akcencie na finiszu. Piana spora i twoży na szklanicy ślady. Głęboko ciemnoczerwony kolor tego celtyckiego piwa tylko zachęca do skosztowania

Pours light chestnut with medium off-white head. Very dirty aroma with soil, compost and some sweetish, lightly roasted malts. Light bodied palate, slightly spicy and herbal. Short finish with low bitterness. Does not hit the mark for me, way below average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle, poured into a snifter. The aroma is a faint berry sweetness, with caramel, a slightly burnt bread quality and undertones of earth and wax that strengthen later. It pours clear with a dark red-amber hue and a light tan, dense soap head that has a moderate retention and lace. The taste is a medium waxy bitter with a medium light syrup sweetness. It’s a sticky beer with a lightly fizzy carbonation and a medium light, malt body that predominantly burnt in flavor with tones of caramel and bread crust, and a light hint of fig. The finish is bread crust with a burnt character. The aftertaste is a cloying, burnt waxy note.

330ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish red, dark amber colour with small, rapidly diminishing, minimally lacing, beige head. Bready, caramel malty and minimally fruity aroma, hints of red berries. Taste is dry hoppy, bready malty, hints of dark bread, rye crisp bread. Unspectacular.

500ml bottle. Pours clear reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts and raisins. The taste is similar, followed by a slighty bitter finish. The sweetness is a bit overdone really.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2015 Bottle. Average white frothy head not lasting. Hazy ligth amber colour with redish hues. Aroma is toasted, malty and hoppy with caramel and flowerish notes. Taste is fruity, malty , toasted with hoppy flowerish and bitter aftertaste. Medium high carbonation and medium body. Quite an interesting beer where the hop dominates the malty features.

Bottle 0,5l. Clear, light red/brown colored beer. Aroma of toasted malts, bread, fruit-forest red berries (raspberries), apples, maybe some cherries. Medium bodied, semi-sweet, flavor of red berries, hops, nice bitterness. Finish is dry and bitter- hops, bread, toasted grain.
Quite nice ale.

Bottle 0,5l from Interspar Zagreb. Brown to red little hazy body, beige medium head. Aroma of the foam isn’t good, but body of beer below smells nice: dark berries, floral hops, nuts, red apples, bread. Taste is very hoppy, with it leaves, apples, strawberries, needle-leaves, bread, roasted seeds. Strong (pleasant) bitterness, slight to medium dryness (especially in the aftertaste). Medium body.
Easy drinkable and very tasty ale.
