COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional light hop flavour balances the sweet malty caramel taste. The addition of a pinch of roast barley during the brewing process lends a distinctive roast bite which is balanced by a crisp dry medium bitterness.

O’Hara’s Irish Red has a very thin, off-white head, a brilliant brick-red appearance, lots of bubble streams, and a little bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is of medium-roasted barley malt, molasses, brown bread crust, and candied fruit. Taste is of tannin, bread crust, and mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and O’Hara’s Irish Red finishes crisp, dry, refreshing, and easy drinking. Overall, this is a simple, yet good beer. RJT

Djupröd på gränsen till brun med ljusbrun liten krona. Doft av malt och lite kaffe. Smaken är ganska tunn med lätt kolsyra. Lättdrucken och god men sticker inte ut.

Deep amber color with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Bready, fruity and herbal aroma. A bit sweet, but not over the top. Quite easy drinkable. Fine body for an 4,3% beer. Malty, bready, fruity and nutty. Decent.

Lätt metallisk i smaken. Maltsötman balanseras av en neutral beska. Lite torrt avslut.

Coffee, citrus fruits, and caramel aroma, not harmonizing though. Mild, sweet taste containing caramel, nuts, and wood.

330ml brown bottle, pours clear dark brown with a medium sized frothy beige head that settled quickly. Aroma of caramel and roasted malts. Flavours of caramel, dark bread, muscovado and roasted malts. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light-medium bodied, somewhat thin texture and average carbonation. Overall okay, the flavour profile is quite pleasant, but I would have preferred it stronger and more bitter.
