Fra fat på Shamrock Inn i København: 6% med mye god, røstet maltsmak. Godt balansert og med fin fylde. Tørr. Mild ettersmak gjør den lett å helle innpå (og det liker jo irene).

Deep dark in the bottle, beige foamy head. The beer starts intense roasted, very dry. The mainpart is roasted. Espresso, dark chocolate, even hints of brown dark sugar, but not very sweet at all. The aftertaste is long, burned dark bread, nicely hopped, very intense roasty.
Great and dark roasted Stout. Intense and still highly drinkable! A great brew! --> 13/12/14/14

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2014 Small bottle. Very dark body, tall tan head. Aroma has rich coffee, roasted nuts, chocolate cake, smoked almonds, dark toffee. Taste has the same and then even more sweet roast and burnt sugar in the finish. So tasty and well balanced - this is a tremendous stout!

Bottle 50 cl. Pours dark brown in color with a tan head. Chocolate, roasted coffee, lots of dark vibes is present on the whole here in aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Roasted malts, bitter chocolate and coffee notes in taste. Really smooth on the whole. Thick bitter chocolate in aftertaste. Great one.

No can do stouts better than the Irish. A bit too much carbonation pulls down the impression, but gee what a great and well-balanced taste and the aftertaste is delightfully long.

Nice sweet pecan pie aroma, maybe walnutty too. Basically black, brief tight off-white head. lovely rich roast. Touch of marmite. Quite thin palate, crisp carbonation. Anna gets brazil nuts, I get just a hint of brazil nut oil in the finish. Later I get a bit of choco in the aroma. Good roast but even better biting hop finish. Let it warm and swirl to get the full experience.

Dark and full flavored. Stronger flavor than why Guinness would offer. Sweat with roasted malts and chocolate. A very good stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
