Amber colored beer with a thin white head. Malty aroma with a little skunkiness apparrent. Malty sweet up front finishes bitter but skunky. Dump the green bottle.

Draught at cafe. Clear dark, amber reddish colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, dark fruits, toasted notes and nuts. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity with nuts and bread notes. An okay bock in the usual, safe Carlsberg style.

Øllen har en meget flot skum og en gylden farve, som gør øllen meget indbydende. Selve øllen har en karamel og frugtig smag, som afrundes med en bitter eftersmag.

1847 - Carlsberg’s foundation. In 1972, that year where Carlsberg celebrates 125 years, was 47 brewed the first time. It was originally an anniversary bock, which later became a regular brew for Christmas. Carlsberg has repeatedly discussed the idea of taking it out of production - may it never happen, for it is in my opinion one of the best the Danes could taste - at least if we only focus on the biggest breweries in Denmark. 47 have a little foam, delicate aroma of caramel and hops without any parts being exaggerated. Deep and rich flavor of caramel malt, a little indefinable fruit and a comfortable hoppy bitterness. The many percentages in 47 can be felt as a slight tingling in the mouth but its sweetness has finally taken over and leave a good and chunky overall impression. It is certainly a very real type bock, without too much fuss, but which satisfies my big bock-heart. I could easily desire a little more ferocity in a bock, but conversely, we have here a faithful bock as always live up to expectations. It is also commendable.

Aromat jakby owocowy, w smaku delikatnie palone, karmel. Kolor czerwony. W sumie kolejny raz jestem miło zaskoczony produktem Carlsberga. Dobre.

Medium beige head. Opaque brown body with carbonation. Syrupy spicy caramel aroma with perfumy rye crisp bread notes. Dry earthy spicy taste with intense herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry-sweet spicy intensely herbal aftertaste with teak and spruce notes, as well as some apple. Basically undrinkably weird. (0.5l can from 7-Eleven, Copenhagen.)

Enjoyed a can of this beer in Copenhagen. The beer had a darker, rich amber color with a good-sized foamy white head with average retention, and modest cling and lacing. The aroma had some barley and caramel malt notes, but also a sour grainy and earthy hops blend. It was more strongly bitter and grainy beer with a slight sour yeast and malt effect. The beer was fairly full and wet in the mouth with a slight drying effect and average carbonation.

Rated from backlog. Pour brown with a large white foamy head. Aroma has slight caramel, and is dominantly pretty malty. Taste is overall pretty bitter, and isn’t that well balanced imo. Plenty of co2, with a somewhat medium body.
