COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2007 Originally reviewed back on 1/11/03. Received 3.15 score. Added to my RB list to check "Denmark" as a beer country consumed. Basic macro-esque feel with the added bonus of amber coloring. Inocouous, and nothing earth-shattering.

Strange brown color. No head. I am really surprised to see this listed as a Vienna. The alcohol is very apperent. Decent mouthfeel.

Pretty disappointing. A good sweet lager but not a BEST of its class type one would expect from a Club. Green bottle!!!???

Bottle. Clear amber-red body, creamy off-white diminishing head. Malty aroma, brown sugar, nuts and lemon. Oily texture, medium body and a bitter finish. Well balanced flavor.

Pours clear red amber with a thin, but creamy head. Aroma is slightly metallic but has plenty of caramel. Very full mouthfeel - feels much thicker than it looks. It is quite sweet with some peppery flavours. Also some caramel.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2006 Clear golden colour with white head. Aroma of caramel malts and fruit. Medium carbonated and the texture is smooth but however you can easily feel the 7% alcohol. pilsner malts and czeck hops. Spicy and a fine bitter finish. One of the best Carlsbergs indeed!

clear amber, large offwhite head. sweet and caramelly aroma, soft slight honey or banana. flavor is sweet honey, nice bitterness from alc and bitterhops combined, nice bittersweet example of how good macro can get.
