It has been some years since I tried this last time. Back then it was one of the best danish X-mas brews, but since then many danish breweries have emerged.
It pours amber, with a nice almost white head.
Malty with some bitterness on the nose, but not just from hops, or?
Quite creamy, high carbonation, quite strong, you can feel al the 7%.
Well still a good beer, but noway near the top danish X-mas brews of today. chrisv10 (373), Denmark

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 13, 2009 Bottle. Lovely amber, the aroma is sugar and not much else. Thick, syrupy malt with an alcohol edge. Bitter finish, but the beer does not quite balance out. This is beer from before the craft revolution. PLundsgaard (210), Tranbjerg J, Denmark

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 30, 2008 Bottle. Weak malt aroma. Golden amber colour with small beige haed. Rather bitter flavour mixed with malts. No surprises, just above average for a vienna.
