can 33cl. bbf 03.01.09. red/brown with nice offwhite large head. sweet dusty/grainy aroma, resembles belgian a little bit.
nice flavor, very nice for a macro. grainy/dusty, hops, honey, watermelon, slight dark fruits if you let it warm up. very well composed. much better than most macros at this ABV.

Oct 20, 2008 Nice everyday brew from on the big ones. Nice balance between malt and hops, but it could use a bit more bite to be perfect. Ordinary in a good way.
Svesse (1877), Hässelby, Sweden
Aug 3, 2008 (Draught at Old English Pub, Copenhagen 27 July 2008) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with dried fruit, caramel and brown sugar. Fruity, malty taste with notes of nuts, dark fruit, brown sugar and a sweet, almost cloying finish. Slightly chemical and way too sweet. Not very good (as expected I suppose).
OleR (1380), Oslo, Norway
Jul 7, 2008 Draught. A thin khaki head upon a brilliant orangey-brown body with high carbonation. Light toffee-ish malt aroma. Notes of tangerines and plums. Sweet malty flavor. Moderate hopbitterness. Some acidic tones. Body is light plus. Lively mouthfeel. A decent ale.

Offwhite head, reddish brown beer with a fruity aroma.
Fruity flavour, too, sweet apples, toffee. Crisp cider-like finish.
Not bad coming from you know who - I’d prefer this to most of the Carlsberg offerings.
