Bottle. Pours a clear, golden amber with a diminishing beige/yellowish head. Sweet, malty aroma; dark fruits and a slight cereal overtone. Dusty notes as it warms. Pretty decent, but a bit cloying. Flavour is sweet and malty as well, with a plastic overtone and a bitterness lurking in the back. Feels a bit watery. As it warms, a distinct metallic note appears, as well as alcohol and cereals, bordering on the grainy. Malty and sweet liquorice finish with lingering tart and cereal notes, and a whiff of alcohol. Overall not bad, but nothing special either. 31.12.11.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2012 280112: sweet and malty beer with alcohol character. not as strong as the typical German bocks. a burnt caramel flavors emerge as it warms. it becomes a bit more interesting by over 10 degrees..

hældes i stor glas..næsten ingen krone, men en behagelig smag af den lette karamel malt, farve mørk brun... let prikkende. med ok smag af træet.meget let sødlig smag..ok..fået af papsoe..øh glas var dimpled mug...

Deep amber, small off-white head. Caramelly, a bit grassy and papery aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramelly, grassy flavor, toasted malty backbone. Slightly too industrial flavor, although clean product.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Deep amber, close to copper colour, with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is bready and caramel malty with some mild crystal notes as well. Slight wooden and not-too-sweet syrupy notes as well. Flavour is nutty, wooden, caramel malty with some quite bitter wooden and resiny notes as well. Rather nicely balanced.

Pours brown with no head. Sweet, hvidtøl-like aroma which reappears in the flavour. This is unashamedly sweetened, and not in a good way. Has absolutely nothing to do with a real bock; this is just a lager beer with added colour and sugar.

Bottle. Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops and caramel.

23.09.2011. 0,33l Bottle. Kiwi Thisted, Denmark. Amber brown colour with off-white head. Aroma is malty with a very nice coffee aroma. Very strong flavours of coffee. Some sweetness and notes of caramel at the end. Very good beer and this is by far my choice of the three test beers!

Unpleasant sour flavor of caramel malt and hops without nuances. Actually really disgusting! Carlsberg Carls Bock no votes!

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moedrate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter ok caramellic flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Boring but not bad.
