1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Pernille (518) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2005
(On tap) This beer was served in a large Erdinger glass. An it looked fantastic. For that reason expectations were high. But unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Carlsberg has managed to produce a wheatbeer which doesn’t smell or taste like anything. Very boring.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sigmund (3711) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - AUG 17, 2005
Draught at a Turkish restaurant in Odense (had it also later on two other occasions in Denmark). Served too cold. Surprisingly dark colour, orange to brown, cloudy. Moderate but nice hefe aroma and flavour, tolerable hops. Went nicely with the Turkish buffet. Pleasant cloves aftertaste.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Papsoe (22987) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2005
(On tap) Deep orangey golden, wee cloudiness and a small head. Huge estery flavours - banana is prominent - but dry and even with a short bitterness. A decent attempt at a Hefeweizen from Carlsberg. 040203
(Bottle 33 cl) Bottled version. 5/3/5/2/10=2,5 090104
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 veronika (410) - SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2005
Golden with an ok white head. Elder aroma with grainy notes, fruity from apples, grapefruits and citrus. Wheat flavor, creamy and malty with banana, pineapple and some elder. Mild sweetish finish.

Hazy yellow, quite lasting offwhite head. Fruity aroma with apple, grape and pineapple. Some wheat and yeast. Quite mild fruity flavor, malty and with some grain. Mild finish.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 austinpowers (2827) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 17, 2005
This was massively wheaty and a tad Belgian in flavor. Extremely yeasty and I was impressed just how "german" this hefe was in taste. An impressive effort from an overall unimpressive brewery.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ChristianSA (368) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2005
On tap at the Carlsberg visitor centre. Hazy yellow with puffy white head, that lasts to the last sip. No real aroma and flavor, which is strange as I remember this beer as being quite nice with lots of banana and glove as in the good german weizenbiers. Strange - maybe they have changed yeast or something? I will try and rerate this, to see if I’ve just been unlucky.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 ThomasE (5176) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2004
Really not that interesting, if you want a weissbier look somewhere else.
Both aroma and flavor is very weak.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 BigDane (6) - Greve, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2004 does not count
A great beer when on draft, still nice on bottle, but you have to make sure to have a glass big enough to fit the whole beer.
A taste of lemon is hidden in the beer, that creates the fruity taste of summer.
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 2, 2004
A hint of bitterness and sweetness, but only a hint. Very plain and one dimensional. (Draught in Carlsberg Brewery, Kobenhavn)
