COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught at Sommersko, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Hazy orange golden colour with tiny white head. Aroma is pretty true to German Hefeweizen. Yeast and wheat plus some sweetness in aroma. Flavour is close to that too. Slightly thin but fizzy. Went down well with ox tournedos.

Medium white head. Hazy opaque brown body. Caramelly wheaty sugary aroma with vague banana notes. Dry wheaty mealy taste with papery caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy caramelly aftertaste with oily bananaish notes. Decent, but boring. (0.4l draft at Piccolo Grappa, Århus.)

UPDATED: APR 11, 2012 From tap: Pours amber with a lively white head. Sweet aroma of ripe banana and caramel. A little one-dimensional flavor. Relatively low-carbonated, a little too sweet. I miss a little acid to create balance and suppleness, but an OK mainstream hefeweizen.

Can. Hazy amber. Aroma is yeast and a bit of cloves. Lot of sweetness in taste and light creamy palate. Nothing special - but not a bad beer.

On tap at some cafe I can’t remember the name of in Copenhagen. Light amber hazy body, medium off-white head. Nose is wheat, cereals and hints of caramel malt. Mild nutty wheat tones, hints of clove and nut much more. Drinkable and plain; a pretty OK weizen actually. A bit underrated IMO.
