Bottled. Black colour with a reddish tinge. Small, off-white, quickly diminishing head. Coffee and caramel aroma with notes of butterscotch. Tastes coffeish, chocolatey and caramelly. Quite bitter. Bitter and chocolatey in the finish. Mediumbodied, slightly creamy texture. This is surely a nice porter, but not overly complex and a tad to bitter for my liking. Still, very enjoyable. Thanks to joss for this one.

Thanks go out to Madsberg for sending this one! This one is sitting here in front of me just as black as night and the huge tan head is slowly filling with holes, yet it refuses to die into the body of the beer. Big spider webs appear on the sides of the glass where the stickyness remains. It’s still quite cold, but already there is a nice chocolate and coffee aroma building from the meringue-like head. This beer has lots of body so you can work it slowly in your mouth. Very soft first impression, full and rich. Well balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter, but lots of smooth cocoa and coffee flavors with a long finish. You can take some time before you need to sip again with this. Nice indeed.

Very dark brown with warm glow in the color. Nice beige creamy froth. Aroma’s of strong black coffee and burned malts Dried fruits coated in 100% pure black chocolate and hints of dried seaweed. Typical stout taste with accents of coffee, coffeebeans, roasted nuts, Touch of heavy roasted meat on the BBQ. Faint touch of caramel and creme brûlee in the aftertaste. Huge thanks go’s to Jeppe (Bierkônig)

Beautiful, almost black with a fast disappearing head. Aroma with lots of alcohol and coffee. The taste is dominated by roasted malts and coffee, with notes of alcohol and licorice. Exceptional oily mouthfeel. Most certainly one of my favourite danish beers.

A massive dark colour, almost black. The taste is characterized by bitterness and malt, that later on, gives room for more coffee- and chocolate-like flavors. Uhm.

Thanks MADS for the bottle: Hum... quite dark and inviting with an oily fim that coats my snifter. The aroma is a smackdown of roasted malts, molasses, bitter mocha, espresso, prune, and tons of aromatics. Lovely! The taste follows suit, heavy malt characteristics on top of a twangy fruit and molasses level. The nutty, smoke and coffee"like" finish which addes a great deal of depth on my palate. Just a touch of alcohol to keep ya warm. YUMMY! This mouthfeel is lush and oily with a chalky follow through. Geez, either I need try some more or this stuff is way under-rated?!?! I stick with this experience and this rating for now.

High brown creamy head, pretyy impressive actually. Dark brown colour. Very roasted aroma. The taste is very strongly roasted, too, this is a beer for strong people. There is a note of chocolate/dark fruits/liquorice in the taste. Altogether a nice experience full of vitamins!
