Bottle 33cl. Nice brown layer pours quite tarish. Opaque. Aroma is roasted beef, raisins, cherry liqueur, dark chocolate and brown sugar. Flavour is sugary alcohol in the front with chocolate in the back.

Bottle from Dedollewaitor. Jet black with a tanned rapidly diminishing head. Aroma is coffee and creamy yeast. Flavour is dry roast malt, some dark fruit on a smoked ash base. Palate is very dry.

330 ml bottle, rated from backlog. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts and some ashy notes. Tastes pretty sweet, coffee and ashes.

Black and thick w small brown head. Molasses and roasted malts. Thick. Sour, licorice. Good for a traditional danish lunch.

Bottle. Pours almost pitchblack with a one-finger brown head. The aroma is of roasted malts. Has a sweet taste of roasted malts, chocolate, ash, sugar and cream. Mouthfeel is around medium. Pretty good mass-market porter. I lke it.

Flaske på hytta, delt med Einar: nydelig aroma av bjørnebær og svisker. Litt for kort skum. Vandi, metallisk ettersmak. God valuta for en billig penge.

Nicely pitch back colour with a tan/orangey head, though fading too quickly for my liking. Noses of dark roasted bitter malts and hints of bread. Some sweetness to it with a medium to full body developing some bitterness too. Nicely lingering slick oilyness to it with a coherent finish not to oppressive but well balanced.

33 cl. bottle poured in to a snifter. Jet black appearance with a small, creamy light tan head. Roasted aroma with hard roasted malts, hops, coffee and light honey. Only hints of sweetness. Taste is medium bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture. Medium length finish with roasted malts, hops, coffee and hints of honey. Lacks a little bit in the finish and a little more body and sweetness would do well. Otherwise a nice porter from Carlsberg.
