COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Not my fav of all Carlsbergs beers. But it’s worth a try. Like the aftertase of it.

Draught@Copenhagen Airport@approx. 6 degrees C. Pours beautiful copper-red with an off-white head. And that is about the most positive that can be said of this beer. I haven’t had one for years, and now I remember why. Very faint aroma of roasted malt and the same holds true for the taste. Hops hardly discernable. Quite highly carbonated. Waterey palate and again very faint, roasted malt, caramel aftertaste. Boring macro-product which lacks aroma and taste altogether, but easily drinkable i suppose.

A brown "Classic" lager with low head. Aroma is caramel, malty, roasted, light coffee, light chocolate. Taste is bitter.

On the Road to Kulhuse 20/9 2014. 50 cl. can from DøgnNetto. Drank it from the can - so appearance is from memory. Pours brown with slightly brown head. Aroma of malts, toffee caramel and nuts. Soft mouthfeel from medium carbonation. Rather light taste. Nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste is mostly bitter. One of my favourites from Carlsberg.

33 cl bottle via a colleague, served cold and shared. Clear amber with a decent white head. Light melanoidin, a touch of caramel, clean, no hop character to speak of. Medium-ish body, moderate carbonation. Thinner and less interesting than the nose, a little noble hop character, less malty; dry with fairly low bitterness and a somewhat weak finish. Not that special...

not bad, but nothing special. Has a decent hop bite and a crisp body, but really not a whole lot else going on. aroma is weak, as is the palate.

Dark amber red with subtle, but obvious foam. Tastes of caramel, beechwood, rock candy and syrup; the sweetness is discrete enough not to overkill in any direction. The hops are relatively anonymous, most obvious in the tail.
