I have rated this beer lower than it really deserves based on the taste alone, but the markting bothers be. It isn’t anything else than a lager with a bit of this and a bit of that topped off with some caramel to give it the color.

Sep 26, 2008 Canned. Amber colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is dishwater, metal and mild rubbery notes. Flavour is grass, harsh hops and some mmild caramel.

Rich orange, small head. Fruity and light malty aroma. Metallic and carbonated palate. Metallic hops, but good bold light fruits such as apples. Zingy metallic hop finish - quite long. Didn’t like.

Aug 8, 2008 On-tap. Amber color with a white head. Weak aroma of roasted malt, caramel, and light hoppiness. Neutral taste of roasted malt, caramel, bread and some bitter hops. Drinkable, but weak and a bit boring.

Jul 17, 2008 yeasty and brown aroma. clear brown/red with small almost white head. Strange taste. roasted stuff, burnt sugar, small hint of dark fruits. very fulll-bodied taste for a 4.4% brew.
Mogwai (189), Askeby, Denmark
Jul 9, 2008 Draught. Dark brown/red colour with short lasting head. Aroma is malt, hops, a little caramel. Flavor is the same with a bitterness also present. And not in a good way.
