COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Copen*hagen is a new beer. And it’s quite a different beer. If you haven’t had the pleasure yet: Be prepared for a chilling surprise. It’s extra-ordinarily refreshing. Crisp, easy and smooth. Without bitter aftertaste. Brewed with nothing but natural ingredients and cold filtered for purity. Copen*hagen is like an open invitation. Scandinavian minimalism. Being beautifully stylish and refreshingly approachable, it allows you to enjoy beer in a discerning, stylish and modern way.
Daring in its sophistication Copen*hagen is refreshing to all your senses. From its very name, over the stylized hop leaf to the shape of the bottle it’s made to satisfy every taste- and style-conscious lovers of life.

Champagne- like color, clear white head. Reminds me of one of those US light lagers; rice, some wheat on the nose with no intensity. Bland. Really light body, but nice and soft. Doesn’t feel watery, but diluted. I’m thinking coors light right now. Stylish label and bottle design, I’m sure this will appeal to the young ones and others more used to alco pops. If the ABV was to be tuned down a bit (say 2.8-3.5%), this could be a nice substitute for water on really, *really*, hot days. Edit: some yeasty-rice tones as it warms up.

Tämä Carlsbergin tuote on kaatuu lasiin vaalean, kirkkaan keltaisena. Valkoinen vaahto häviää nopeasti. "Aromissa" on maksalaatikkoa ja maissia. Olut maistuu maissille ja pahville. Hiilihappoja on melko paljon ja olut on vetinen. Pitkästä aikaa sattui eteeni "olut", joka on oikeasti ihan totaalisen surkea.

Bottled 330ml (BB 11/2012)
Clear pale yellow color, steady small white head. Harsh sweetcorn/rice aroma. Soft palate. Corn, cardboard, some honey and as expected low bitterness. Similar to Corona or Sol. The biggest joke is that ultimate brand called Copen*hagen 56°N is actually brewed in Klaipeda 55°N!

Bottled. Clear pale yellow, rich head. Highly unpleasant aroma of week old garbage and fermented vegetables. Sweetish and bland. Syrupy, metallic and watery with huge off flavours of compost. Fruity with tinny finish. Zero drinkability. Horrid flavour. What more can you ask for?

Bottle in Oslo. Wasn’t sure what this was. Some sort of a spritzer? Body is clear with little head (Cider?) Taste is quite crisp of malts and slight fruit. Not much to it but not so bad either. My non-rating family thought it was quite nice... And what up with Copenhagen being brewed in Lithuania?

Flaske 0,33l. Lys designerflaske. Lys gulgrønn på farge. Stygg! God skumdannelse drar litt opp på utseendet. Aroma av korn & gress. Smaken det samme. Tilløp til syrlig ettersmak. Søt maltavslutning. KI=5.

Oh dear. Bottle of turbid water labeled as beer. Looks like white wine with water, smells of cabbage with bread. Luckily the aroma isn’t very strong, neither is the taste of sour hops. Why, Carlsberg?
