It’s a dark brown beer, crystal clear, topped by a small, off-white head. Roasted, slightly butterscotchy nose with a little coffee. Sweet and roasted flavor with some coffee and a faint note of butterscotch. Some hops too. Medium to full body, slightly sticky sweet. A quite drinkable beer, but a bit boring and with a lightly irritating hint of butterscotch. (090517) ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Jun 9, 2009 Ruby brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel flavour, with a little bready malt, and a slightly roasted note. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Jun 1, 2009 Bottle at KØ09. I was under the impression that it was called Cream Ale, but Cream Stout is indeed more appropriate. Roasted flavour, but overshadowed by the sweetness. Almost clear dark brown colour. Very small head. Nice and round. Probably too sweet to drink a lot of. yespr (11644), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 31, 2009 CBF09. 33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with a small tan head.
