Bottled(275ml). -Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, strong lemony nose. Slight hoppy and grainy with notes of lemon and lime. Drinkable but why???

Bottle. Clear bottle and yellow appearance. Poured with a small head. A chemical like citrus flavour dominated. Drinking this is one of the things I hope that i never do again in my whole life. Never,Never, Never!

One of those, offered one round a mates and thought I’ll try it as it’s free. Strange that it really wasn’t that bad. A childs drink. Something to give the kids to ween them on to proper beer. Would never buy it but it’s much better than some stuff half my mates like. Citrus up front but pretty much a pale lager. Given the choice I often have out of Stella or Carling when out at a pub not of my choice, I’d drink this if I could get it. Weird!

Pale gold. Aroma was more lime than lemon. Taste was, I suppose, mildly citric, however I got more ginger and coriander than lemon. Not as bad as I feared it would be when Mrs H thoughtfully ordered eight bottles from Tesco because they were on offer.

Bottle from asda. Aroma reminds me of pouring a fosters shandy, noteable lemon, as it warms a rubbish blend of pale malts, but not the most offensive. Flavour is again lemon and lime while its still very cold, however it warms into a rubbish lager and loses the citrus character. I didnt mind this fellow and would have it again over other worce bottled lagers that are easier to get, however must be drunk very cold.

275ml bottle. Very pale straw colour with a billowing white head; smells like a shandy - sweet and artificial; taste is slightly better, with a real lemon flavour. Very thin, but quite refreshing.

Bottle. Dull yellow/gold with a large foam. Aromas are grain and mellow lemon with salty butter. Flavours are weak lemon squash with grain following. Very thin and unbeer-like.

A sublime, refreshing drink (when taken ice cold) with a lingering, organic taste that has me longing for long, heady summer days. Not a drinkers drink, but definitely one of the best citrus attemps thus far.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2006 275ml bottle. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but quite a pleasant drink. Pale gold wet air in the Mexican style, but with a beerily bready aftertaste and a twist of lemon or even ginger zestiness that doesn’t taste offensively chemical. I’d even consider drinking it again. Shame on me.

Neutral pale lager with a lemon sweet flavour, slightly chemical. These citric flavoured lagers are proving very popular. Drinkable - though straight forward pale lager tastes better.
