faroeviking (3955), Faroese Beer Republic union of, Denmark Jul 6, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice red-brownish colou with an average lasting head. Nice aroma of hops and toasted malt with caramel, which is even more profound in the flavour along with a nice soft fruitiness. Good mouthfeel. The aftertaste is long lasting and just so pleasant. Brewed in Canada on licence by permission from Carlsberg. Great amber beer. Why is this tasty beer not brewed in Denmark? sinkhole (117), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Mar 12, 2007 Draught. Poured red/brown with average head. Some nutty aromas, with a subtle hop flavouring that is overpowered by the overall sweetness of the beer. Minimal bitter aftertaste. Okay for a macro red. oldrtybastrd (1512), Morlautern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany Sep 6, 2006 Pours a amber color. Aromas of malts and a hint of hops. Flavor is sweet malt, could use more hops.
