clean red color, whispy head, malty aroma, good hop flavor that warms to a tartness then a bitterness for an aftertaste<br />

faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Jul 6, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice red-brownish colou with an average lasting head. Nice aroma of hops and toasted malt with caramel, which is even more profound in the flavour along with a nice soft fruitiness. Good mouthfeel. The aftertaste is long lasting and just so pleasant. Brewed in Canada on licence by permission from Carlsberg. Great amber beer. Why is this tasty beer not brewed in Denmark? Radek Kliber (3403), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 15, 2003 Nothing special here . It does feel more than 5.6 % , light on other things , a bit harsh . CapFlu (3353), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Jan 4, 2003 Carlsberg with red food colouring? Rather interesting trick; like green beer on St.Patty’s Day. Boring jerc (3268), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 8, 2004 Hazy amber red color with a small but good head. Funky slightly malty aroma with a hint of cardboard. Flavour is slightly sweet with a touch of nutty hops and an odd lingering aftertaste. Decent palate for a macro. Was actually halfway enjoyable even if I didn’t really pull out anything much to write about.
