COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Carlsberg Elephant Beer is an amber-coloured beer with big intensity in its aroma, and with a distinct maltyness. There is notes of honey in the aroma. The palate of Carlsberg Elephant shows a good balance between a good body from the alcohol, and a discrete sweetness which is tamed by the sophisticated bitterness of the aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear straw gold pourwd with one finger of a frothy white head that quickly dissipates. Malty aroma with notes of biscuit and honey. There is a slight sku.ky undertone (green bottle?). The taste is a lite sweet.

Can from a rest area store near Köln. Aroma is mostly just sweetish malt and grains with a hint of alcohol. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Very dull sweet malty stuff.

0,5 l Flasche. Aroma: würzig, alkoholisch, vergorene rote Früchte. Erscheinung: Hell kupferfarbenes Bier, flacher, weißer Schaum, akzeptable Gardine. Geschmack: leicht malzig süß, unangenehm bitter, unausgeglichen. Nachgeschmack: Pelzige Zunge, erhöhter Alkohol kommt leicht durch. Gesamt: da gibt es viele bessere.

Melon, grain, golden with a good white head not very persistant, light body, alcohol is quietly well hidden, medium carbonation, taste of grain, quite sweet, bitter final...i know, like classic Carlsberg pilsener, is not a great beer but for many reasons, i love this elephant.

Pours a golden color with a thin head. Tastes of malt and bitter with a crisp finish. A solid session brew on a hot day.

pours a faintly murky straw gold with a decent white bubbly head. Aroma is hay, grass, and stereotypical Euro "good skunk". Taste is semi-sweet malt. Some faint hops fade in. Clean finish with a lightly sweet linger. Not bad. Refreshing.
