COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Carlsberg Elephant er en såkaldt ”Bockbier” og blev brygget for første gang i 1959. Den er vinøs og frugtig med smagsindtryk af æbler, melon, banan og karamel afbalanceret af en tør bitterhed. Du fornemmer også antydninger af egetræ, bark, nødder og fyrrenåle. Farven er lys gylden med hvidt skum.

English: Carlsberg Elephant Beer is an amber-coloured beer with big intensity in its aroma, and with a distinct maltyness. There is notes of honey in the aroma. The palate of Carlsberg Elephant shows a good balance between a good body from the alcohol, and a discrete sweetness which is tamed by the sophisticated bitterness of the aftertaste.

33 cl bottle at home. Clear golden color, fine white head. Aroma is sweet corny and maybe hints of hops. Flavor is sweet, has some bitterness, but the alcohol kills it all. Not well done at all.

(bottle - 330 ml) Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Aroma is bitter hops and skunked notes. Some sweetness. Flavor is lightly sweet at the beginning with some dry and skunky notes in the middle and a bitter finish. Alcohol is very apparent.

Aroma - dough, alcohol Appearance - pale golden clear with frothy head. Flavor - medium sweet, strongly sour, flat Palate - medium,creamy,soft,bitter Drinkable but with effort.Very grainy, no real hops or malt. Bitter without the flavor. Probably won’t try this again.

330ml Bottle: Aroma of noble hops, vegetables, corn, and slight alcohol. Poured gold in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Good to very good lacing. Flavor is lightly bitter. Tastes of corn, vegetables, and skunk. Light body. Thin, dry texture. Average texture. Vegetal finish is lightly dry.
