COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Carlsberg Elephant er en såkaldt ”Bockbier” og blev brygget for første gang i 1959. Den er vinøs og frugtig med smagsindtryk af æbler, melon, banan og karamel afbalanceret af en tør bitterhed. Du fornemmer også antydninger af egetræ, bark, nødder og fyrrenåle. Farven er lys gylden med hvidt skum.

English: Carlsberg Elephant Beer is an amber-coloured beer with big intensity in its aroma, and with a distinct maltyness. There is notes of honey in the aroma. The palate of Carlsberg Elephant shows a good balance between a good body from the alcohol, and a discrete sweetness which is tamed by the sophisticated bitterness of the aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Poured with a huge rocky white head. Sparkling yellow/amber in colour with small medium body. Aroma of fruitiness.

A friend from England loved this stuff until I got him drinking some good beer. I think he liked the alcohol content. Gets you drunk faster than most crap beer.

Bottle. Clear bright golden-amber with no head. Nose is sweet caramel and honey. Flavor is disgusting, caramel mixed with creamed corn? Ouch. Harsh alcohol bite. Instant drainpour for the safety of all involved.

Bottle 0,33l. Golden colored. An ok creamy head. Strong sweet fruity aroma. Bland flavor with some fruity hints. Some bitterness in a dry finish. This beer was one of my favorites 30-40 years ago. The beer probably has not changed much. I definitely have. KI=4

330ml bottle. Bright golden body with an one-finger, bubbly white head. Malty with alcohol to the nose. Sweet taste of malt with alcohol beneath. Actually, quite mouthfilling with a hoppy touch to the ending (shared at Finn’s in Tromsø, 21.10.2008).

Very floral stinky nose ( got marijuana in there ). Hops evident. Pour clear yellow. Great refreshing taste. Apples and other light fruit. Finish has some citrus/banana.

[Eyes] Golden color with a nice light head. not large ... [Aroma] Light hoppy smell, some grains, frutity//. [Mouth] Citrus,lemon. Very nice and refreshing. Some hops and graininess. Serving type: bottle
