Jun 6, 2007 Rated 4/20/07: Well to be honest this beer is junk, Danish malt likka nonetheless. Mildly skunk aroma with a sprinkling of sugar, I’m actually glad the aroma is subdued. Nice pour, dark yellow sizeable white head and lots of lacing. Thick and sticky, not a pleasant experience for the palate. Flavor is rough and filled with adjuncts. Malt liquor is the same across the globe and knows no boundaries. Not a pleasing drink in any regards.

Jun 3, 2007 Smells like an overly-skunky heinekin. Basically heinekin on steroids. Strong alcohol flavor and sticky-sweet taste and feel. I’d been hearing good things, but this one did not deliver.

May 30, 2007 Can. Pale golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of meat and vegetable broth. Salty flavour, quite alcoholic. Sticky mouthfeel. Miserable.

May 30, 2007 330ml bottle. Skunky malt aroma with some floral hops and alcoholic vinous fruitiness. Pours a hazy sort of gold with a white head that doesn’t want to stick around. Moderately full body, sweetness is apparent, some honeyish malt with some underlying skankiness comes through, some light wine-like fruitiness also in there. Finish is moderately bitter with some floral hopiness apparent, alcohol flavour seeps through drying the palate. Not sure why i bought a 6 pack of these, I guess its been a while since i tried one, it’s rocket fuel more than anything else.

May 29, 2007 Faintly musty cardboard nose with a little sweetness, and alcohol. Strong alcohol flavor with rather stale malty sweetness. No hops character but some bitterness at the end, and pervasive alcohol. DO NOT WANT

May 23, 2007 Bottled. Pale yellow pour with a slight haziness and impressively rocky snow-white froth. Fingers of lace. Wet straw and hop grassiness. Almost a sniff of mandarin. Slightly syrupy malt with a crisp finishing bitterness. Unexpectedly refreshing by the 275ml measure. Would probably be singing its praises if it was Belgian. Sort of tastes like a sup of your dad’s pint did when you were 7 years old. Bitter, metallic and booze-sodden. You know you shouldn’t like it, but you can’t help youself.
