COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Carlsberg Elephant er en såkaldt ”Bockbier” og blev brygget for første gang i 1959. Den er vinøs og frugtig med smagsindtryk af æbler, melon, banan og karamel afbalanceret af en tør bitterhed. Du fornemmer også antydninger af egetræ, bark, nødder og fyrrenåle. Farven er lys gylden med hvidt skum.

English: Carlsberg Elephant Beer is an amber-coloured beer with big intensity in its aroma, and with a distinct maltyness. There is notes of honey in the aroma. The palate of Carlsberg Elephant shows a good balance between a good body from the alcohol, and a discrete sweetness which is tamed by the sophisticated bitterness of the aftertaste.

0.33 bottle. Meager aroma of grass and humidity, delicate scent of alcohol. Clear, pale golden liquid with a high though weak, white head. Light bitter taste with no special features apart from quite distinguishable hops flavor. Average carbonation, thin and smooth texture. Short, tasteless finish easily comparable to water. Standard strong lager beer. I am not sure whether more could be expected of a gigantic commerce company though.

Pours a clear orange with a pillowy large white head and good lacing. Smell is almos like grape juice to me, sweet, mildly acidic and metallic with a slight hop note. The taste is initially sweet with a bit of a fake fruitiness, not much on the hops, definately some grains and the alcohol presence is known. Overall it was surprisingly strong and decently flavorful, but I thought the sweetness was a bit too much.

Pours a golden body with a thin creamy white head. Big sweet malty flavor and a nice bitterness. Better than I anticipated.

Was curious as to why I was charged €9.50 for 0.5l of carlsberg then discovered this is what I had been dealt. Yellow with white head. Lager aroma. Lager taste, perhaps more flavor than your typical shit lager but not good. Finishes badly, poor palate, gets you under the tongue. Rank

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and apples. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin, carboantion is soft.
