COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Carlsberg Elephant Beer is an amber-coloured beer with big intensity in its aroma, and with a distinct maltyness. There is notes of honey in the aroma. The palate of Carlsberg Elephant shows a good balance between a good body from the alcohol, and a discrete sweetness which is tamed by the sophisticated bitterness of the aftertaste.

slightly hazy gold with a thin white head; medium body with medium-high carbonation.

aroma: pale malt, noble hops, adjunct sweetness, rotting fruit alcohol esters.

taste: malt and adjunct sweetness, bittering noble hops, fruity alcohol.

not too bad at first, but sweetness and alcohols become slightly cloying. more similar to a german helles lager than the malt liqueur character i was expecting.

At a whooping 7.2% - you would think that this was more like 72%. You sense that kick. This is a legendary beer, before cranking up the alcohol was cool. This is still a classic European beer. A nice foamy head in pouring sticks around. Pour this into a pewter tankard and you will think that you are back n the 15th century. Th bottle is absolutely beutiful.

Clear goldblond coloured beer with small white head and only very few carbonation. Sweet herby aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is hoppy bitter sweet with a rather dry ending. Not

Clear golden color, vast white head, lacing. Nice rough pilsener smell, I like it. Good full flavor in the taste, though a little bit watery texture. Nice beer, but too bad about the body. Little bit too watery though the carbo and ABV are nice.
