COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Carlsberg Elephant er en såkaldt ”Bockbier” og blev brygget for første gang i 1959. Den er vinøs og frugtig med smagsindtryk af æbler, melon, banan og karamel afbalanceret af en tør bitterhed. Du fornemmer også antydninger af egetræ, bark, nødder og fyrrenåle. Farven er lys gylden med hvidt skum.

English: Carlsberg Elephant Beer is an amber-coloured beer with big intensity in its aroma, and with a distinct maltyness. There is notes of honey in the aroma. The palate of Carlsberg Elephant shows a good balance between a good body from the alcohol, and a discrete sweetness which is tamed by the sophisticated bitterness of the aftertaste.

Bottle. Light malt and honey aroma. Golden Amber body with medium head. Flavor is sweet with honey notes, well balanced with malts and hops. The alcohol content is well hidden.

Warning! Early amateur rating! A dark and bitter tasting lager. Like Special Brew but without the fruitiness. Hard work.

I like this beer. It is strong, semi bold, gold-amber color with a slight harsh on the palate, with a little alcohol, cereal, honey, hop/malt aftertaste but med body. It is good easy drinking beer to me, and i like to sip on this. Light beer drinkers may not agree, and find it a bit strong but all in all its a desirable beer to me. Not to mention the price for a six pack for me is around 7 us. Its worth it

33 cl dåse købt i tyskland. Gylden farve let diset. Stort hvidt hovede som hurtigt aflder. Aroma en smule af gær. Smag lidt af gær, en smule sur og en let bitter afskutning. D-B-11,75

not good smells of lager tastes of lager with bad aftertaste this is far from my favorite of anything in any catagory

A: Darker golden beer with a decent head. S: Not much here; a little bit of grain. Mild sweetness. T: Lots of grain flavor and a little bit of sweetness. Not many hops to speak of. Pour a clear pale gold with a 2 finger, creamy, bright white head that has good retention. Aroma is grass, straw, a little cereal, bready yeast, and light floral notes. Flavor is sweet cereal, light grass, bready yeast and light fusel-like notes. Palate is light to medium bodied, oily and has a medium, sharp carbonation. Pretty much middle of the road malt liquor with some grassy/skunky hops.
