2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
rather weak and somewhat offensive aroma. Taste’s a little bitter, but not in a good way. I am sure its better fresh in Copenhagen.

0,5 l can bought at the gas station. Bough it just by curiosity not expecting a good beer. For a beer with 7,2 % alcohol it’s pretty ok .Without excessive sweetness or strong alcohol taste.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Presentation: It was poured from a green 11.2oz bottle into a pint glass. The label lists the abv at 7.2% abv.
Appearance: The body has a deep yellow color with good clarity and some visible carbonation. On top it sports a bright white fluffy head of foam. It quickly settled down to a wispy thin film covering. Lacing is minimal and slick.
Smell: It has a nice bready and grainy maltiness in the nose. It smells sweet with a mild floral hop note for balance.
Taste / Palate: The flavor has a light cereal grain sweetness with some mild grassy and floral hops in the finish. The feel is smooth and full with just enough carbonation.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer is nicer than the comments of many would suggest. The aroma is well integrated, the malt comes through in the flavors and there some sweetness leading into a moderatly strong earthy bitterness in the finish.

This isn’t as bad as you could be talked into believing it might be, and I’d go as far as saying that it’s not at all bad, and would certainly take you to the wobbly walk home in a hurry, Has some harsh hop edge but it has a sweetness that counters it. Overall it’s light on flavour, big on aroma.

Copenhagen 1/6 2015. 50 cl can from Netto. A worried looking Elephant is taking a walk on the front of the can. Pours clear yellow with white head. Dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is quite malty and sweet. A little sharpness from the alcohol. Medium carbonation. Taste is sweet and grainy and heavy with alcohol. Aftertaste is heavy sweet. That this was considered to be a classic for many years seems like a mystery today. But you get a hell of a hangover.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from an 11.2 oz bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a smell of corn, malt and some grass. not very exciting
Appearance- Pours a golden yellow with a small thick white head.
Taste- Has a very good flavor. I was anticipating the Euro green glass skunk devil, but that was not the case. A nice caramel flavor with a strong alcohol mix.
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Has a slightly oily texture that goes well with the flavor.
Overall- I noticed there is not a lot of love for the "Elephant" rating wise. I thought it was really good for the style and it goes down very well.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: Pils grain meets cereal with light to moderate sweetness; hops are on the woody side. Appearance: Light copper pour with little wisps of carbonation; the foamy white head settles down into a slightly bubbly skin pretty quickly. Flavor: Pils/cereal up front, but also quickly and surprisingly woody; the sweetness of the grains is pretty well met by the hops here. The finish is lightly bitter, still woody, and mostly dry. Palate: Light to medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Really just a bigger Carlsberg Pils, a beer I don’t particularly enjoy. Still, I feel like this is better than many of it’s counterparts, which almost always come off to me as alcohol delivery devices (Rinkuskiai Werewolf, I’m looking at you!). "High Boost" and a good value- a sixer in my area is $6.99.
