3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured golden with a decent white, frothy head. Sweet malt aroma with a slight taste of alcohol. I remember this as one of my first imports back in the early 80s and loving it. Not so great now with so many more choices, but good memories and not a bad bee

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Botella de 33 cl de el c. Ingles.

Appearance: clear gold, small vanishing head;
Taste: medium bitterness, medium sweetness
Palate: medium body, slick texture, bitter finish, average carbonation
A drinkable spicy and malty strong lager, surprisingly well-hopped for the Carlsberg brewery.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
TPSA. Pours fizzy yellow with a hint of green -- kinda weird looking. Nose is standard macro lager with just a hint of hops and something herbal. The flavor is all right; it’s an import macro with just a little extra herbal hops. Can’t really tell the elevated ABV at all; not sure if that’s a good thing or not. Finish is long but flat.

Ingen kalasöl men man har gjort mycket dumt genom åren tyvärr. Smakar lite för mycket alkohol

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
25 cL bottle at Cafe de La Garre in Liege. Golden and gassy with a bubbly head. Dry and hoppy Saaz-like aroma. It has a decent bitter bite and is very pleasant, if nothing particularly special. Certainly better than the Carlsberg on tap in the UK.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Continuing my abuse for tonight, I’m signing into this one.
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pilsener.
The appearance was a hazy glossy yellow color with a clear enough transparency letting light carbonation to be seen rising. The head was there but dissipated within less than twenty seconds. Don’t ask me about lacing, there wasn’t any.
The smell was skunky oily grass.
The taste wasn’t any better. Was there anything?
On the palate, there’s a whole lot of harshness pummeling my tongue into submission with a long slick feel just flowing over my tongue.
Overall, pale lager, Euro Strong Lager, Imperial Lager, whatever one wants to call this, I probably wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole. Let Satan have this back for I would never storm the gates of beer hell for this one. Give me a cider from Inbev first.
