COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Yet another pale, yellow lager with a big foamy head. Some bitter hops on the nose. Nothing much.

Bottle. Pale yellow, nose is slight. Bit of hop and grainy malt. taste has quite a bit of fruity hop, not much malt and a dry uninteresting finish. Not a bad macro and has some taste to it. Finish lacking though.

Very nice taste and comes in a green bottle. Enjoy it with a packet of walkers ready salted crisps

(blind-sampled at Election Day Pale Lager Challenge) Pours a pale, clear golden with little, white head. There’s not much aroma to detect in there - except perhaps some herbal hops? Weak-bodied, softly carbonated, watery texture and a short, bitter finish. The taste is somewhat bitter. Girlfriend says: "Quite generic."

MUCH better than the UK standard Carlsberg. Pours clear and golden and has some head. Aroma sweet malt. A little more syrupy and malty than the UK Carlseberg. Sorry to keep comparing but it’s my benchmark. Not a fantastic lager but certainly better than the bog standard version.

568ml can. Straw with a loose white head; cereal grain aroma; fresh gainy flavour with a medium body and light carbonation; and a very lightly bitter finish, just avoiding the damp cardboard found in so many cheap macro lagers. Probably the best lager in the world ... I beg to differ.
