Carlsberg Export has been 4.8% abv in the UK since January 2012

500ml green pet bottle poured into a lager glass. Appearance is pale golden with a large frothy beige head that reduced quickly, leaving no lacing behind. Aroma of straw, mineral notes and wet cardboard. Flavours of sweet wheat bread, processed sugar and a hint of alcohol. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light bodied, slick texture and average carbonation. Carlsberg Export is a standard lager, weak aroma, but the taste is no worse than any other cheap mass-produced lager.

Golden colour with white head. Without aroma, only a few notices of hops, almost without aroma, with average carbonation and bitterness.

Kleine 25 cl. fles, uitgeschonken in fluitglas.

Large bottle: poured bright yellow with white large bubbled head. Aroma was almost non-existent, maybe slightly malty and grassy notes there. Taste was grainy with some light toasty flavors. Ended with moderate bitterness. Light on the tongue, non-persistent flavors, moderately dry finish.

330ml can, beer gift from djoeye. Loose white head, fragile lacing. Clear golden body. Smell of pale malts, papery dry. Moderate taste of pale malts and grassy hops. Harsh bitter endnotes, short-lived. Foamy in the mouth. Rather empty but far from bad (with the Sunday food at home, Tromsø 08.02.2015).

Bunch of 650ml bottles in Kathmandu. Pours a clear gold with some fading, white head. Nose has some stale grass, stale malt, a little honey, some lemon. Flavor follows, mild corn, mild malt, a little briny actually, some grass. Watery finish.
