Large bottle: poured bright yellow with white large bubbled head. Aroma was almost non-existent, maybe slightly malty and grassy notes there. Taste was grainy with some light toasty flavors. Ended with moderate bitterness. Light on the tongue, non-persistent flavors, moderately dry finish.

330ml can, beer gift from djoeye. Loose white head, fragile lacing. Clear golden body. Smell of pale malts, papery dry. Moderate taste of pale malts and grassy hops. Harsh bitter endnotes, short-lived. Foamy in the mouth. Rather empty but far from bad (with the Sunday food at home, Tromsø 08.02.2015).

Bunch of 650ml bottles in Kathmandu. Pours a clear gold with some fading, white head. Nose has some stale grass, stale malt, a little honey, some lemon. Flavor follows, mild corn, mild malt, a little briny actually, some grass. Watery finish.

Bland drink, bitter taste with no real distinguishing aspects to it, my least favorite lager by far.

0.5l bottle. Clear, pale yellow color with fast disappearing head. Aroma is shit, but really it stinks. Taste is awfuly sweet and bitter. One of the worst beers.

Tasted years ago and apparently not the same as the Carlsberg Copenhagen 1847 sold in supermarkets in Belgium nowadays. This was also often lightstruck due to the green bottles, with the same iron presence in the nose and metallic taste in the mouth, simple malt sweetishness with a corny touch and herbally hoppy in the finish, but less so than the Carlsberg Copenhagen 1847 (listed as Carlsberg Pilsener here). Didn’t like this too much.

Bottled. (Sri Lanka version) Yellow coloured. Clear. Small fizzy off White head. Aroma. Grains. Sweetness. Light grass. Flavour. Pretty much the same. Thin bodied. Light bitter end. Preferable to the local lion lager imo.
