COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Can 0,5ltr: Golden clear well balanced brew with an slightly bitter aftertaste. From all big breweries in the world, Carlsberg is mine world nr.1 amongst the ranks of AB-Inbev, Heineken, SAB-Miller and such.

Light yellow with white foam head. Aroma is like most pilseners, nothing special. So is taste, bitter pilsener. OK beer, nothing more. (Milaan 201206)

660ml bottle from co-op supermarket England. Brewed at 4.8% rather than the 5.0% stated here. An ok lager but only just that.

Can. Pale gold with a white head that doesn’t last all that well. Aroma is grainy and floral. Taste is sweet with a grainy tang before less than balancing bitterness. An odd spiced woody note at the end. Not awful, just dull.

Can, courtesy of Ethiopian Airways. Clear golden body with a thin white film. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing on the tiny plastic cup. Aroma of grain and damp cardboard. Flavour of paper, envelope seal and cereal. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. A flabby, insipid beer.

Aroma; bread, yeast, pale sweet malts, lemony grains. Decent pearl white puffy head diminishing on top of the straw golden body. Spotty lacings spread inside the mug. Taste; sweet pale malts, soap, grass, bread. Easy n light to palate. Finishes bready, slightly dry, notes of cardboard, hints of bitterness. Overall a lame taste, (33cl can abv5.0% b@Systembolaget Luleå Sweden, tasted@home Norway)

Thanks Sev for procuring this bottle. Pours a golden colour with a decent white head that dies down after a while. Aroma of bready yeast and caramel. Bready yeast flavour is prominent flavour-wise also. Moderate carbonation, a little slick and a dry finish.
