Bottle. Clear orange colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops and with grassy notes.

As a Northerner, I almost drank it with mother’s milk. Classical taste to match the dining table as on itself.

Bottle 275ml, a clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is on sweet malt, aroma is sweet on malt with corn sugar notes and a round hopy and grassy finish. Quite drinkable and properly balanced, not a top pilsner but a hopy easy going lager.

A - pours clear light stare yellow with no head. S - aromas of honey, floral notes of honey suckle, and some grains and lager. M - pretty light bodied weak palate. Lingering sticky sweet malt ending. T - same as the nose. Awful sticky sweet malt ending. 3+

1. Bottle 25/08/2001 Clean and smooth on the palate. Slight hop finish. 2. Bottle 26/08/2001 Hoppy lager whcih finishes crisp on the palate. 3. Can 06/10/2003 Golden coloured slightly strong in alcohol. Malty flavour. Some bitterness in a smooth finish. 4. Can 14/12/2003 Golden strong in alcohol. 5. 500ml Can at Bocking Street Warehouse, London 04/07/2010 Malt aroma. Golden coloured and smooth on the palate with some alcohol present. A hint of dryness in a malt finish. 6. On Tap at Emperor’s Court, Northwich 20/12/2010 (As Carlsberg Export ABV 5.6%) Some hop aroma. Carbonation. Golden coloured hoppy and floral with a hint of dryness in a bitter malt finish.

500ml can. Carries a deep snow white head in the initial pour. Head settles pretty quickly. Light amber colour with lots of grainy straw aromas. Earthy muddy flavour that is not pleasant at all and leaves a bad aftertaste.

Clean, crisp, discrete bready aroma, flavour is watery, malty and clean, nothing to remember, but good for lawn moving.

Can 0,5ltr: Golden clear well balanced brew with an slightly bitter aftertaste. From all big breweries in the world, Carlsberg is mine world nr.1 amongst the ranks of AB-Inbev, Heineken, SAB-Miller and such.

Pours pale amber with a clear head, flowery aroma, and very high carbonation. taste wise, its pretty run of the mill, there is a lot of fizz. its refreshing enough served cold, some bitterness, some malt, but not particularly standout.

Bottle. Light golden-yellow color with small white head. Grainy, malty aroma. Taste, malty sweet with light sourness in background, light bittersweet finish. Quite watery beer.
