Remember the "Probably the best lager in the world" TV ads back in the 70s and 80s? I thought that a joke when I used to pinch the odd can from my Dad’s stash in our garage when I was far too young to be drinking.. At least it seemed to taste of something back then, but now it’s even lost the metallic twang that I remember! "Probably the blandest lager in the world"? This really is as close to carbonated mineral water as I’ve tasted since Lucky lager in the Buda bottles. Ashamed to think that this is brewed in the UK!..

Second beer of blackhaddocks shorthand beer night. Can. Pale yellow beer with small head. Aroma is metalic and sulphurus. Taste is weak malts and grain. Highly carbonated Burp juice. Shitty.

Pale yellow, lots of fizz.Rocky white head. Light pale malt and citrus aroma. Not much flavour to speak of, a little malt. Very watery, fizzy, no finish. Inoffensive at best.

Had a 440ml can, better from a very cold bottle, highly carbonated, weak, bit of a metallic aftertaste. Ok for a cheap lager watching the footy.

Drank this out of a 440ml can. Pale straw colour. Crumby head. Faint lager malt aroma. Taste was reasonably refreshing. Overall really quite poor. ABV 3.8%

Equilibrada e resfrescante., esta lager de grande distribuição impressiona quando falamos de paladar. Apesar do aroma não ser o forte a Carlsberg pode ser degustada com tranquilidade pelos melhores bebedores de cerveja do mundo

Well I might prefer it to fosters. MIGHT. But saying that 98% of beer is better than Fosters. The problem is I think it's not as nice as carling, and giving that 97% of beer is nicer than carling that's not saying much! It tastes of adjuncts. That sweet corn flavour. And I had it from a chilled keg. I have had this at room temperature before and then it's horrible. Does its job though- super chilled lout juice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
