Low quality lager. Has all the standard pale lager traits: fizzy, flavourless and weak.

From a can I found in my bands tour van. Tasteless, fizzy, bland, anus, faeces. I hope this is a good review.

Bottle
Very light straw...clear...frothy white head
Aroma - some skunk...light metallic grain...almost nothing on the nose
Taste - light pale malt...corn...light cereal...very weak flavour
Palate - soft carb (out of small bottle)...very thin body...watery. Finish - paper and light sweet cereal
Overall - Almost no aroma and flavour. I can drink this but it’s just coloured bit sweet water.

In the UK Carlsberg’s main competitor is Fosters and I would recommend Carlsberg over Fosters any day. It definitely a beer with a distinctive taste witch is a good thing, unfortunately the taste is not very present. The warmer it gets the worse it tastes. I would advise you try 1664.

Bottle at the football. Basic mass produced lager. Cold and wet, but has something slightly richer and hoppier than many other standard lagers. Having said that, it’s not very good really.

Clear gold with a fizzy white head. Smells of sweet malt and hops. Fizzy with a thin light body. Easy malt taste with a little citrus. Once it warms up it becomes a chore. One of the best Pale Lagers I’ve had but still very borring.
