Somewhat surprised that I hadn’t rated this - but then again, probably another one from the pre-ratebeer days. Can’t see why I would have gone out of my way for a common macro-lager. In any case, this was on draft at a random pub in La Defense in Paris. Actually better than I recalled by quite a bit. Medium gold, OK head, clear. Aroma was actually nicely of floral hops. Flavor was slightly sweet pale malt, a hint of DMS, and a faint floral finish. Not bad for what it is.

Keg Extra Cold. Darlington FC. Lurid, almost fluorescent yellow. A medium white head, with decent lacing. Bitter notes, but on the whole overwhelmingly sickly sweet. Aroma is corn and damp cardboard. Nothing else detectable. This is however, very refreshing and cooling. Dry on the finish. Fine for washing away the dust.

Can 50 cl. A quite deep and smooth pils near to Germans one, nice body and perfume, properly hopped. Good malt flavor, above the average of usual pils.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2011 Cannette 500 ml. 5%. Couleur janue or, mousse blanche. Arômes de malt et maïs. Goût de céréales, maïs et très léger houblon. En général, assez fade. Mais se boit bien froide quand il fait très chaud, ça passe.

pours very nice head and retains well. This is one of the top macro beers and its nice on a hot summer day.

This is the Bud of Denmark. Aroma of sourness, with maybe some grassy notes. Doesn’t taste as bad as it smells, which is a very good thing. Clean, crisp, with a good hop bitterness that does give this beer something.

0,5 bottle 5% alc. Very popular beer in Europe but it is not good. Large corporation. Not the best. Soft sweety flavor. Hops less then average. Usual supermarket crap. I will never else buy it.

This beer is much sweeter than I expected. It is light and drinkable, but the taste is too sweet and weak.
