Pours light clear gold. Light white head. Aroma of pear orange and nice bread. Taste of citrus pear and good grains. No cheap cereal flavor. Pretty smooth balance of CO2. Cold, refreshing, tasty for a pilsner.

Bez rewelacji. Aromat słodowy, wygląd słaby, a w smaku co najwyżej "ujdzie". Jeżeli to jest prawdopodobnie najlepsze piwo na świecie to ja prawdopodobnie jestem prezydentem Polski...

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2015 33cl bottle@home in Carlsberg tall glass. Approx 10 degrees C. My hardest review to date! This is THE beer of my life. Grew up with it. My late father prefered it to Tuborg, the choice readily available at the time. Tried Tuborg myself as a youngster as is was the preferred brew of my intellecutal friends trying to emulate the working classes. Found out how much better Carslberg, then Hof, tasted and never looked back. Even persuaded my girlfriend, now my life’s companon, that Carlsberg is superior in taste. Today , the family, including our 22 year old son, agree. Carlsberg is the standard upon which pilsners/lagers are measured. And though not among the great, it fares well. LIght golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, citrus, bread and pine. Taste slightly sweet and malty. I strikes me that I am drinking this too warm! Should be about 5 degrees, but then again, I get a long, malty aftertaste, which is more than I bargained for. Nuff said! I still like this old stablemate. Perhaps more that I should, but it just is a damn nice lager! Pobably not the best in the world, but one of the very goood macro lagers.

On tap at 5k Kildares. Glycogenic tasting pilsner from Denmark. Danky feel to it, flavorful at best, harsh at worst. Gets the job done, easily drank brew.

Old rating. Straight from the bottle. Noticeably skunkiness present. Slight hint of pear and citrus albeit very minimal. Little to no body. Little to no flavour outside of grain. Not even a good pilsner. Just doesn’t taste fresh.

0,5 l plechovka z Coop Jednoty vyrobené v Srbsku. Svetlejšia farba, hustá "jarová" pena, vonia to ako pivo. Chuť slabá, po horkosti ani náznak, po prehltnutí zostáva na jazyku zvláštna pachuť. Mizerné europivo, vypiť len v prípade núdze v zahraničí...

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from a 330 CL bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- ahhh, the green glass skunkiness strikes again.
Appearance- Straw yellow with almost no head
Taste- has an almost citrus flavor with some grain thrown in
Palate- A light bodied brew with moderate carbonation.
Overall- an ok beer. I am sure this beer has suffered in the US market when craft beer took off.

Jak wszyscy wiemy, nie ma nic w tym piwie. Kiedyś było dobre, teraz jest niedobre. I na pewno nie jest to pilsner.

Aroma is much like any other good pilsner, malty and fresh. Goes in very well. Low on CO2. One of my favourite easy-drinking beers!

Named Carlsberg Copenhagen 1847 on neck label. Poured a crystal clear pale amber colour with a two-finger white frothy head that retained OK and laced OK. Carbonation high with lots of fine to medium sized bubbles. Aroma of grain and light malt is quite pleasant but typical of a lager. Taste of slight sweetness and slight hops bitterness. Light body. Crisp refreshing mouthfeel but one to drink quickly to enjoy the best it has to offer. Typical macro-lager, certainly not a pilsner.
