COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Overly malty, especially in the aftertaste, like a skunkier Heineken, not awful. Definite European skunk.

Bottle. Pours gold with a small white head. Nose of pale malt and some skunk. The taste is quite simple and common, but it does have some quality to it. There is an earthy taste that I like, and a hoppy aftertaste.

Pour from a green 12oz bottle. Golden yellow beer with one finger of white head that soon fizzles, leaving a thin coating on top of the brew. Faint but pleasant aroma of sweet grain with a hint of hops. Pleasant malty flavor, lightly hopped, well balanced finish. No metallic, vegetal, or adjunct overtones. Medium mouthfeel. Not extraordinary but a competent lager that does justice to the style.

This must be what the sweat off a skunk’s ass-crack tastes like. It is as light, fizzy, and yellow as a pilsner can get. It had an extremely skunky smell and taste and the god awful taste lingered on my tongue for way too long. I was exhausted and thought I grabbed Carling. This awful taste in my mouth is completely my fault for not paying attention. The city of Copenhaven must tap into their public sewers for this gem.

I’ll drink it if it’s at a party, but it’s not worth the export price. Very Heinikenish with a sweet, slightly bitter taste with corn body.

is sold with a pale gold livery in the UK as Carlsberg Export...it is what it is...

Bottle. Pours straw color with fluffy white head. The aroma is a little skunky at first pour, but dissipates as it breathes; once the skunk is gone, a somewhat pleasant grassy and herbal note shines through, with some sweet malt in there, too. The flavor is not so great. Very sweet, rather metallic. There’s an odd, semi-dry corn husk deal in the finish. The aftertaste is really strange... all that sweetness morphs into a fruit punch type taste, accompanied by paper and sawdust. Blah.

stinky aroma of mushrooms and some herbs, flavor is rather sweet, body is watery and finish is hoppy sweet, bad beer.
