Sep 5, 2007 Updated: Feb 14, 2008Boring, unpleasant beer that is both bland and fizzy, yet still oddly bitter. As a result, it is neither tasty nor particularly easy to drink. I always pass on this stuff. At least it’s better than Tuborg, which is saying almost nothing since I positivley hate Tuborg.

Sep 1, 2007 33 cl bottle. Pours a nice golden color with a white head. Aroma of hops. A very drinkable beer (gotta have at least two to make it count). Forever a Danish classic.

Aug 27, 2007 Updated: Nov 27, 2007(as ’export’ brewed in sweden at 5.1%) 33cl green bottle. Gold, clear, frothy white head. Weak grassy, grainy aroma, some skunk. Flavor is mostly watery grainy with some sweetness and almost no hops. Boring, but drinkable. (3,3,5,3,8;2.2) (as Carlsberg Beer, 4.6% danish version) Pretty much the same beer, maybe slightly less graininess and more sweetness. Same score. (as Carlsberg Hof at 4.2%) 33cl bottle. Ultra bland variant of the standard Carlsberg. Very watery palate, almost no flavor. (3,3,4,2,7;1.9)

Aug 24, 2007 Very good fallback beer. No frills. Very much a relaxing beer. Watery texture, but not detrimental. Bearable aftertaste

Aug 22, 2007 Bottle. Golden straw-color with a fluffy white head that stayed as a quarter-inch ring on top of beer. It left a nice lacing on the glass. Minimal aroma. Tastes of sweet malt. Pretty standard European lager. Would make a good lawn mower or session beer.

Aug 21, 2007 Updated: Apr 1, 2009Sampled as Carlsberg Export in UK. Goodness me, the head just shoots up pilsner glass when poured. Nothing much in mouth. Easy drunk, but not much taste at all.
Next Morning....god what a sore head..now I know why it was cheap.
This, however, is nothing compared to Cypriot Carlsberg...........would rate that FAR higher

Aug 18, 2007 Largely boring, but dependable. Just like macros in North America, perhaps a little better, but not much. Perhaps the only reason to choose it over local macros would be to feel more "cultured"?
