Danish: Carlsberg er egentlig blevet en del af den danske kulturarv og den danske tørst.
Du oplever en harmonisk balance mellem bitterhed og sødmefulde æbler, mens du nyder den lyse gyldne farve med det flotte skum og duften af fyrretræ, strå, hasselnød og skovsyre. Ja, det er næsten som en forårsdag i Danmark. Og sådan klæder Carlsberg også det danske køkken hele vejen rundt.

Bottle. For a pale production lager this was pretty drinkable, im glad we get the extra abv point but i guess since we have 12oz serving sizes that probably accounts for the difference. eh.

Yellow coloured beer with small diminishing white head and medium carbonation. Little hoppy aroma. Bit bitter wattery palate. Finish is bitter and hoppy which sweetens off.

Cant stand the way lagers smell. Skunk! Straight out the bottle its expectedly sharp but falls off to bland. Rather extreme ends. I can appreciate this beer but "give me a Heineken" so I dont look pretentious.

12oz bottle: Honey gold pour with a fizzy, pearl head. Green bottle hops meet the nose, noting fresh cut grass with a piney undertone. The skunky hops are met with a sweet toffee note in the body. Some light clover honey notes as well. The hops really dominate, and not in a good way. Skunky, green bottle beer. Pretty lackluster in all areas.

Bottle from World Market in Davis, CA. Pours a pale gold color and barely has a smell to it. Clean and refreshing taste, but just another typical pale lager. Drink it really cold and it may even seem like a good beer.

Rather refreshing but not sure I could put down more than a couple of these. Pale gold pour with small foam head. Smooth and mild on the pallet but a little odd hop bitterness-dry finish.

I’ve had wildly different opinions on Carlsberg as the consistency from batch to batch seems more inconsistent than you’d expect.
