0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Syzzer (216) - Oregon, USA - SEP 2, 2011
I had a friend from Denmark. Soren. He swore this was the greatest of beers. After trying it, I was perplexed. Upon further investigation he had only tried macrobrews and his national pride also boosted the rating to this flacid, simple carbo water
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 AshtonMcCobb (779) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 26, 2011
33cl bottle. Drank out of the bottle, so not sure of appearance. The nose has lemon, pale malt and a litle big of vegetable oil. The taste has lemon and pale malt. The palate has a light structure and texture but it cleans ok. Overall, one of the better mass-produced lagers.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Wolfbass (517) - Firenze, ITALY - AUG 11, 2011
Mi ricordo quando ero piccino, che bevevo la Carlsberg e pensavo di bere la miglior birra del pianeta...

473ml can, Canadian packaging says 5% ABV. I found this to be a fairly generic European lager. Nothing all that great or bad.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jhumphries69 (1035) - Tyrone, Georgia, USA - AUG 9, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours golden and clear with a thin short-lived white head with large (but not quite soapy) bubbles. Aroma is grainy with touches of bready sweetness and slight floral hops. Flavor starts malty and bready with subtle notes of oxidation/cardboard. Slight grassiness that fades to a balanced finish with a neutral hop bitterness and some grainy malt sweetness. Grainy slightly yeasty after-taste. Mouthfeel is medium in body with surprisingly soft carbonation. Overall, drinkable - not terrible for a session beer - but not nothing great. It would definitely be better if it were fresher.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 northropfrye (653) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 8, 2011
Bottle common. Contrary to their slogan, this is nowhere near the world’s best beer - just another generic pale macro.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Drake (4803) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - AUG 6, 2011
12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA, opened 3/17/11. Ah yes, the joys of the green bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium fizzy white head that fades quickly. Once the mass quantities of skunkiness clear out a bit, an aroma of grassy hops, more skunk, corn, faint grainy notes. Kinda musty. The taste is toasted grain, corn and grass. Tart finish. Thin bodied. Not good.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 weihenweizen (633) - West Virginia, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Refrigerated green bottle poured into a shaker. Medium lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and smooth texture. Taste is medium light bready malt with a hint of crisp hops in the finish. Simple, but really good for a pale lager.
