Danish: Carlsberg er egentlig blevet en del af den danske kulturarv og den danske tørst.
Du oplever en harmonisk balance mellem bitterhed og sødmefulde æbler, mens du nyder den lyse gyldne farve med det flotte skum og duften af fyrretræ, strå, hasselnød og skovsyre. Ja, det er næsten som en forårsdag i Danmark. Og sådan klæder Carlsberg også det danske køkken hele vejen rundt.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Some semblance of hops in the aroma. Not much in the flavor department, unoffensive is the best word for it. Easy to drink, but that’s not a surprise based on how little flavor it has.

Bottle @ home. Pours a golden, slightly orange, yellow appearance with a white head. Fairly strong lager aroma from even a couple of feet away that’s also a fairly bland and pale malty. Nice pale malty lager body with a touch of fruity sweetness. Fairly crisp finish. One of the better pale lagers.

On Tap. Pours deep golden hue with light carbonation. Aroma is of light bready malt and slight hint of hops. Light, smooth body. Taste is a little bit of malt, a little bit of hops but mostly tasteless. I wonder if people drank this beer with closed eyes would they realize the drink beer?

golden, white foam, sparkling, medium bitterness, medium body, pretty watery but there are worse beers around (*cough*Heineken*cough*)

Die Flasche des deutschen Carlsberg sieht ganz ok aus. Im Geschmack kommt eine übertriebene Bitterkeit zum Vorschein, die sich auch in den Nachgeschmack durchzieht. Da nützt auch das etwas zitronige Aroma im Mittelteil nichts. Mode-Bier ohne große Finessen.Test vom 24.11.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Not a lot going on but better than Sort Guld IMO. Pours a light yellow. Aroma is malty with bread. Taste is fairly weak but decently enjoyable. Unlike some other big brands (eg Heineken), carbonation is balanced.
