Previously sold in the UK in gold coloured labels/cans as Carlsberg Export. The current UK Carlsberg Export is the same as the standard Carlsberg Export.

Don’t really have much to say about this mass market lager. Drinkable but just the usual stuff.

A bright yellow pilsner with white head. Aroma is light fruity / malty. Taste is light bitter. A good beer, can drink a lot of them.

500ml can served in an ordinary glass. A: Pours a pale golden yellow color forming a big bubbled and aired white head. Clear body, standard Euro Lager. Good retention and tons lacings left S: Sweet grains, Lager yeasts and flowery hops. Good malty profile with classic bready Lager yeasts. Hops are also bit citrus T: Follows the nose. Sweet grains upfront, bready Lager yeasts tempered with citrus hops. Finish is smoothly bitter M: Smooth and light body. Good carbonation. Upfront is sweet and bitter but aftertaste is smooth and grainy O: Easy drinking beer. Classic Euro Lager. Nothing but an average session Lager [ BA Review @ 10/12/2012 ]

0.33L bottle. Pours clear straw color with a thin white head. Aromas are fairly standard pilsener: primarily herby, noble hops and some mild cereal grain. Flavor is pretty mild, and while not unpleasant, not particularly noteworthy. Slightest hint of cereal grain, but mostly just herby hop flavor. Not much in the middle, then a long mild, dry hop linger. Thin body with a creamy(ish) mouthfee and active carbonation. Overall, nothing offensive, refreshing enough, but just pretty standard continental lager.

Blonde dorée conventionnelle. Mousse disparaissant rapidement.

Golden, lots of co2, no head retention. Very subtle aroma, grain. Very clean profile. I thought it was going to be a good beer, but not. Mixed it with lemon soda to have something to drink.

Transfer from BA review on 8-3-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a small white head of a more fizzy nature. There are tons of carbonation bubbles seen streaming up through the body of the brew popping at the surface as the head of the beer fades fast to leave very little lacing on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is on the lighter side overall but is of a mainly grainy and malty in smell. Mixed with these smells is a little bit of grass, hay and lemon as well. Taste – The taste begins with a smooth bready malt taste mixed with a bit of a caramel sweetness. As the taste advances a little bit of grassiness begins developing on the tongue. The grassiness grows a bit stronger, which in the end with the malt and the lighter caramel flavors, leaves a crisp and clean taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the slightly thinner side with a carbonation level that is rather average. It is pretty much dead on in terms of carbonation and feel for the lighter tastes and smoothness of the brew making it very easy to drink. Overall – Not a flavor powerhouse by any means, but it is rather refreshing and easy drinking brew.
