trapez (221), Hilleroed, Denmark May 27, 2008 Bottle 0.33 l. Served after a tough Trapez dinghy race. Refreshing as usual, when you are very thirsty, and that’s probably all there is to say about Hof.
Grossecaisse (20), France Oct 1, 2008 old with the green livery all over the world as Carlsberg Lager or Carlsberg Beer. gerardoluna (168), Mexico Sep 25, 2008 Pint served in imperial pint glass.
[Eyes] Pale clean yellow, thin head, minimal, no lacing.
[Nouse] Not a lot, some faint grany malt
[Mouth] fresh in the beginning a little hop bite in the finish. aftertaste is quick... a bland lager...
cblado (86), Wisconsin, USA Sep 21, 2008 On tap at Von Trier in Milwaukee. Pale goldenrod color. Aroma was grassy and sour. Flavor was similar, very grassy and malty, with a sour finish. Better than American macros, that’s the best you can say about it. troyc (971), Lubbock, Texas, USA Sep 20, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a yellow color with a foamy white head. Sweet Euro lager aroma of grains and vegetable. Sweet malty taste, with some grass/straw hop notes. Clean finish. Mouthfeel and palate decent for a pale lager. Better than most American pale lagers if you are willing to pay the price. daknole (837), Plantation, Florida, USA Sep 14, 2008 Hmmm, not sure why I just tried this. Macro beer color. Macro beer aroma. Macro beer flavor. Waste of time and money.
