Bottle 0.33 l. Served after a tough Trapez dinghy race. Refreshing as usual, when you are very thirsty, and that’s probably all there is to say about Hof.

[Nouse] Not a lot, some faint grany malt
[Mouth] fresh in the beginning a little hop bite in the finish. aftertaste is quick... a bland lager...

Sep 21, 2008 On tap at Von Trier in Milwaukee. Pale goldenrod color. Aroma was grassy and sour. Flavor was similar, very grassy and malty, with a sour finish. Better than American macros, that’s the best you can say about it.

Sep 20, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a yellow color with a foamy white head. Sweet Euro lager aroma of grains and vegetable. Sweet malty taste, with some grass/straw hop notes. Clean finish. Mouthfeel and palate decent for a pale lager. Better than most American pale lagers if you are willing to pay the price.
