Commercial Description:
Carlsberg Light has all the character and refinement of Carlsberg, but with a lighter taste and lower alcohol content. Carlsberg Light is a crisp lager brewed with the same care and craftsmanship as the entire Carlsberg Family.

Carlsberg Lager and Carlsberg Light are no longer being brewed in Canada - they are now importing Carlsberg Lager and Carlsberg Lite from Denmark.

For a light beer, this my preference so far. Much better than any other Light beer I’ve tried. The aroma here is similar to the main brand, so much so that I am unable to tell the difference. Again, like the main brand, it is golden in colour with a mouthfeel that is not offensive to the tongue. However, the flavour has slightly less bite than the parent brew.

bottle: Perhaps my had skunked but this was brutal crap. You know when you have the PC Light & it tastes better something is wrong. Perhaps the worst beer I"ve had in years.

big corn nose, straw coloured, again corn flavour, some bitterness like stale old hops and very watery.

Shared a case of this stuff with my bro who just had a baby. People will be in and out of his house all week long, gotta have a supply of something.... Cracked a few open for myself for a review - corn aroma, light gold colour, watery flavour - typical light beer. However, I can actually taste some malt and there’s even hints of hop here and there in the finish. On top of that the head was very thick and left some lacing. Definitely the best light beer I’ve had and better than some of the regular macro lagers out there.

Corny aroma. Very light in colour. Still, it has the slight burnt taste that Carlsberg full-strength has, yet this one isn’t nearly as good. Overall, the only comment I can make is that this is the best of the light beers, but that’s not saying much.
