Hildigöltur (5056), København Ø, Denmark Apr 11, 2008 Bottled at Zoo Bar, Copenhagen. Pale golden coloured with a white head. Nice grainy and bready aroma. Hay and grain flavour. Very clean. Some refreshing bitterness in the finish. Light bodied. Very fresh and tasty. Also good because it makes you less fat and drunk than normal Carlsberg.
JK54B (385), Finland Sep 29, 2008 Grassy mild nose. White head. Pale golden yellow colour. Waterly and mild grassy and slightly sweet taste. At the end slight hoppiness. A 0.33L can from local market. radiomgb (1776), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Sep 28, 2008 Golden-yellow in colour with a thin white coloured head, very light lacing. The aroma is lightly hopped, grassy, wheaty with some corn and metal appearing as well. The flavour is of corn, wheat, minerials, some plastic and metal, in other words its fantastic. Watery mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes thin, quick and very boring.
This was another birthday gift to myself, not sure why I hate myself so much.
341ml can from The Beer Store in Peterborough, Ontario.
Opened on April 18, 2008.
No date.
KimJohansen (4285), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 27, 2008 Clear golden with large hwite head. Sweet malty aroma with grainy notes. Sweet malty flavour with grainy and cardboard notes. blankboy (2609), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 22, 2008 Bottle (330ml) shared with HogTownHarry courtesy of biegaman. Pours a clear bubbly greenish-yellow with a small diminishing white head. Aroma: Yup, it smells exactly how I expected: Light Euro hops, grain, light vegetal notes and some plastic. Watery flavour follows the aroma along with a finish I don’t like. Quite carbonated. I’ve had much worse but it’s not good. Boutip (1810), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Sep 17, 2008 Can: Poured a golden color lager with an average size pure white head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of sweet malt with not much else to report. Taste is also very bland with light trace of sweet malt but no discernable adjunct. Very bland and very boring and trying to establish itself in an overcrowded light beer market - will probably out of the Canadian market two years from now.
