Aarhus, DK. Bottled. Some malt and hops in the aroma, but however one do not dare too let the flavor follow

[Sampled in 2003.] Indeed I liked this beer some years ago in the contest. Czech in its style and a hoppyness close to Budvar and with a soft carbonation.

This was one of the better beers in a series of 6 that came out 4 or 5 years ago. Very fresh & clean pils like. Little thin body but this has some good bitter hops & a fine malty background! Drinkable pilsener!

Bottle. Golden colour with a big head. Aroma of toasted malts, some fruitiness and bitter hops. Flavour has bitter hops, bit sweet toasted malt, little bit metallic. Thin aftertaste.

Papsoe (22987) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, fully golden colour and a rather pretty head. Some flowery notes in the aroma from the Saazer. But on the bottom-line this really is just another pilsener, and the Bohemian touch isn’t really that prominent. 120303
