3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ungstrup (22906) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 7, 2003
A golden beer with a fine light head - it disappears but not at once. The aroma is very nice of a nice malt. The flavor is nice: slightly sweet of a good malt blend and with a very nice bitterness. A really clean tasting, very refreshing beer. It is not as bitter as an Urquell - but a very nice beer in its own respect. Definatly an above average pilsener.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Papsoe (21781) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, fully golden colour and a rather pretty head. Some flowery notes in the aroma from the Saazer. But on the bottom-line this really is just another pilsener, and the Bohemian touch isn’t really that prominent. 120303
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 yespr (20653) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 18, 2008
33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is clean and crisp hoppy. Light pilsner malt flavour with a following clean and crisp hoppy flavour. Clean and bitter finish.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (15600) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 12, 2003
Bottled. Golden coloured. Grassy, lightly oily aroma. Bold mouthfeel, and certainly not dry enough. Harsh finish with not enough bitterness.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 fiulijn (10000) - Como, ITALY - FEB 10, 2003
Golden color. Strong grass aroma. Interesting malty body, with a rather good hopping and a honey touch. Long final, bitter but still with an impression of honey. A surprise, from Carlsberg.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Dedollewaitor (9254) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2007
This was one of the better beers in a series of 6 that came out 4 or 5 years ago. Very fresh & clean pils like. Little thin body but this has some good bitter hops & a fine malty background! Drinkable pilsener!
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 faroeviking (8598) - Kongens Lyngby, FÖROYAR, FAROE ISLANDS - DEC 8, 2006
Bottle. Golden colour with a big head. Aroma of toasted malts, some fruitiness and bitter hops. Flavour has bitter hops, bit sweet toasted malt, little bit metallic. Thin aftertaste.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Christian (8043) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 28, 2003
Golden yellow, with a firm, but quickly disappearing head - so far it's prefect for a pilsener. Fresh, but weak hoppy nose. The hops also dominate the aroma. Cleaner and crisper taste than most Danish lagers and good bitter finish, but not that extraordinary.
